Parents who respect and acknowledge their children's feelings help them develop emotional and healthy self-esteem. - Help to develop skills:
Giving children opportunities to develop skills and interests helps them feel competent. - Behavior Pattern:
Children often learn by observing their parents' behavior. Parents' positive and healthy attitudes towards themselves can be passed on to their children.
However, parents can also negatively influence children's self-esteem through criticism, lack of support, or setting unrealistic expectations.
